Not much is known about the Brighton-based singer/songwriter and producer Apuhjee. What we do know, however, is that his latest single ‘Space To Forget’ is an absolute stunner, and we’d be ashamed of ourselves if we didn’t share it with you! It’s his sophomore single, following up on ‘Explorer’, and it will form part of Apuhjee’s debut album ‘Intergalactic Psychedelica’. Given the record’s name and the artist’s two singles, I think it’s fair to assume that we’ll be heading on a trippy adventure through space very shortly!
Describing the tune’s motif, the musician says that ‘Space To Forget’ is “a love letter to introspection, a lust for understanding one’s self as well as the world, and the search for direction”. Sonically, we are treated to a chewy and dreamy electro-pop gem that is deeply immersive and utterly captivating. Everything just lines up perfectly!
Apuhjee is planning on unleashing three more singles before the eventual drop of ‘Intergalactic Psychedelica’, and we’ll be chilling here and waiting patiently waiting to hear them. Please heed our warning though – do not miss the boat on this highly talented artist!
