As she explains: “The lyrics ‘I’ll watch you in pixels of light’ speaks to the digital age and the trapped feeling that social media can give people. The middle 8 of Hindsight honours those who were lost in the pandemic as it says ‘The sun will rise. The widows will cry’. It also speaks to the future “The sun will set. We’ll get into bed’. Love and hope will return.”
