Kelsie Kimberlin Takes a Stand Against Totalitarianism

Kimberlin never disappoints. Her sense of artistic grandeur and lyrical elegance syncs perfectly into her charming and fierce musical stylings, allowing the American-Ukrainian songstress to deliver tracks with impressive cinematic value and incredibly meaningful outlook. Kelsie’s latest effort is the strongest evidence of that. ‘We Are The Promise’ offers a deep and loud critique of totalitarianism, empowering people and countries worldwide to find their freedom and authenticity.

Built over an eclectic blend of pop, rock and orchestral elements, ‘We Are The Promise’ sounds more like a soundtrack, and in fact it is, when taking into account the fantastic video that comes with it. A collaboration with Ukrainian composer and film director Sergiy Krutsenko, the release is an audiovisual masterpiece of majestic impact, commanding the attention of the audience with its evocative, crepuscular aesthetic and strong, unapologetic boldness.

Speaking about it, Kelsie Kimberlin explains: “It is very important that people around the world are aware of the threats to freedom and democracy from dictators who care only about power and control. All freedom-loving people must take individual and collective responsibility and oppose fascism in any form. My song and video are intended to inspire everyone to stand up for their rights in the face of these threats.”
