Based in Norway, Vendetta champions what you would describe as art-pop, a genre-bending brand of transformative energy balanced over classic pop stylings and classical elements.
Now, Robert returns with his latest effort, ‘Fool’, a stunning and meaningful piece that’s as theatrical as it is lyrically intense. Built on an elegant and kaleidoscopic arrangement, packed with organic instruments and poignant strings, the track is as blissful and heavenly as one might expect, gently lulling the listeners away with Vendetta’s mellow vocal tone and vibrant character.
Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Fool’, he explains: “The lyrics are extremely poignant, taken from the perspective of someone who’s worked away all the good things in life – even his friends. And looking back with regret.” Vendetta’s upcoming album is expected in 2024.
