No Named Shares Vibey Rock’n’Roll Anthem ‘Touch you Baby’

While Mesmerized might be known for featuring modern pop and avant-garde material, we also enjoy some throwbacks from time to time. And so, stepping away from electronica and contemporary formulas, we dive into nostalgic and raw rock’n’roll, hoping to find some fierceness and charisma. Safe to say, that’s exactly what we encountered in ‘Touch you Baby’. Penned by Los Angeles-based rockers No Named, the record is a slice of retro energy and guitar-powered euphoria.

As it should be! Built over an eclectic array of fuzzy riffs and charming melodies, the single manages to retain a healthy amount of relatability and lyrical meaningfulness, making for a listening experience that’s not just heightened by its instrumental value, but also by its songwriting prowess.

Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Touch you Baby’, No Named explain: “The lyrics narrate the enchanting yet complex nuances of an unexpected attraction, evoking feelings of longing and desire.” Of course, this might not be a record for everyone, seeing its vintage flavouring. Nonetheless, the keen reader will find it empowering and pleasurable. Just give it a chance.
