Grace & Moji Unveils Music Video for ‘Sad Times’

It wasn’t long ago when we featured ‘Sad Times’, the latest effort by Californian pop duo Grace & Moji. A slice of blissful euphoria and uplifting energy, the record was enthusiastically described by us as “a groovy and playful effort that’s immensely relatable and memorable”. We stand by our words – ‘Sad Times’ is certainly one of the best tracks we have heard in the pop landscape this year, not only for its anthemic lyrics but also for its production quality, contemporary yet timeless.

Now, Grace & Moji reiterate their trust in the record, by giving it a charming and fuzzy music video. Directed by bold filmmaker John Frost, the footage features the talented pair engaging in colourful and kaleidoscopic aesthetic goodness, embracing the playful nature of the song. As they explain: “We take you on a strange psychedelic journey in a pink convertible driven by a mysterious man in a mask. We had so much fun shooting this video in a number of locations throughout Los Angeles”.
