Hervé Amiot Debuts with a Delicate Instrumental on ‘Why So’

Get ready to experience one of the most beautiful instrumental pieces that you’ve ever heard. Hervé Amiot is a French guitarist, composer, and singer, though on his most recent single ‘Why So’, his vocals take a rest and he lets his guitar do the talking. Inspired at a young age by the legendary fingerpicking Australian guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, Amiot goes about constructing a deeply moving and emotive piece of music. The purity of just a person and their acoustic guitar is strongly felt, and Hervé manages to somehow create a sense of nakedness but also warmth and comfort at the same time.

‘Why So’ is the culmination of twenty years worth of hard work. Perfecting his fingerpicking skills, the artist is now ready to unleash his debut EP on the world. Titled ‘One Last Thing Before I Go’, the purely instrumental record is scheduled for release sometime this month. We can’t wait!

Please accept our most humble apologies for not featuring more music of this kind. Perhaps it’s because musicians like Hervé Amiot don’t come around as often as we’d like. But I’ll make this promise to you…If someone comes along who’s as good, we’ll be happy to introduce you to them!
