Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, they explain: “So Bruce hit his pop-up pool with the lawnmower, putting a hole in it, and had to take it down. He’d been putting it off for a while, and as he was heading out to dismantle it, was thinking to himself “I don’t wanna do it but I gotta do it”, and very quickly that became a phrase he was singing in his head, which formed the basis and the opening line of the track!”
