Ben Freeman Impresses Again on Latest Synthpop Single ‘Baby Mine’

Returning with his third single of the year titled ‘Baby Mine’ is the highly talented Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter and producer Ben Freeman. Described by the artist as a “moody, gay, synthpop tune for adults in emotionally complex long-term relationships,” ‘Baby Mine’ is a retro-inspired little beauty! Known for his soulful and R&B-infused soundscapes, Freeman is looking to evolve his artistry and is now focusing on pop-centered tracks that still preserve his intimate and introspective approach to songwriting. With his latest song serving as the perfect example of this new direction, it’s going to be extremely exciting to see what he comes up with next!

Teaming up once again with producer Jackson Hoffman, having worked with him on both ‘Curiosity’ and ‘Long Distance’, Ben has concocted one of 2023’s most cinematic and infectious tunes. Finding inspiration in acts and artists like CHVRCHES, Lake Street Dive, Taylor Swift, and Mariah Carey, ‘Baby Mine’ is certain to have a wide appeal.

Ben’s debut album ‘Quiet Fury‘ was released in August last year, and Gabriel was quick to latch onto it and share it around. It’s been great to “rediscover” the artist again, and we are looking forward to the release of his upcoming EP!
