Unquestionably one of our favourite acts of the year, Lukx is the ridiculously talented father-and-son duo hailing from Brussels. From ‘Hello’ and ‘Everyday’ to ‘What if’ and ‘Rotation’, we’ve been closely following their musical journey, each tune deepening our love and appreciation for their sound. Today, I’d like to introduce you to ‘Let Me Believe’, Lukx’s brand new single that was released a few days ago. Sticking with that signature smooth hip-hop/R&B style that has essentially become his trademark, it’s a vibrant, groovy, and soulful tune. Expertly textured and layered (thanks dad), you’re thrown into the deep end straight from the off, and you couldn’t be happier to be there!
“In this song, I talk about self-confidence and self-improvement,” says Lucas (the son). “It’s the perfect track to start the day!” He’s not wrong! That funky bass…Those lively drums…Lucas’ impassioned vocals…It really does get the day off to a good start.
Lukx is a standout act in an industry where doing just that can sometimes feel and be impossible. It’s been a wonderful adventure following them so far, and I get the feeling that 2024 could be even bigger for the duo! Onwards and upwards!
