In a way, Pierce provides us with true storytelling, taking us through the ins and outs of teenage angst and early relationship troubles. Certainly, it’s very relatable, and we are confident Regan will be able to connect with like-minded listeners all around the world.
Built on elegant and sleazy indie pop with a strong guitar component, ‘SPACE’ feels rather eclectic, developing a sonic outlook that feels welcoming and friendly, ready to embrace the lyrical goodness championed so proudly by Pierce. Written and produced by him, the record also showcases the artist’s majestic musicianship skills. His vocals, in particular, are genuinely wholesome and expressive.
Speaking about ‘SPACE’, Pierce explains: “It’s a collection of six songs I’ve written and made about real-life events that have happened in my life. It’s a story about the darkest times in my 21-year-old life.”
