The latest effort by London-based songstress Gaby K, the release marks the project’s second single this year, following up from previous record ‘My Girls’. Built over a passionate and luscious R&B production, ‘What Have I Done’ is a rather introspective offering, blending disastrous love affairs with the need for self-growth and personal redemption.
Safe to say, Gaby K inspires the listeners to be truthful and honest with themselves, no matter what the emotional implications may be. Delving into the inspiration behind the single, she explains: “I want listeners to take away that no matter who you are and where you are in life, you make mistakes and you will always learn from them. Sometimes we can’t help getting caught up in the moment even when we know we shouldn’t.”
