ARO Returns Triumphantly with ‘I Fall In Love Too Many Times’

It wasn’t that long ago that Meghan Aro took my breath away with her debut single ‘Let Me Go’. Released less than two months ago, the tune already has over 11,000 plays on Spotify, so clearly I’m not the only one! Performing under the moniker ARO, the artist has just released her follow-up single, the “mellow dancehall” gem that is ‘I Fall In Love Too Many Times’. An alternative and dreamy pop piece, the track sees the Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter exploring her personal relationship with neurodiversity. Through a wistfully plucked guitar and intricate drum work, ARO guides listeners into the depths of her most profound and introspective emotions.

When speaking of her experience with neurodiversity, Meghan offers up one of the most perfect analogies that I’ve heard. “I think of it like having an antenna that’s hyper-sensitive and can pick up on things that neurotypicals can’t,” she says. “For that reason, we can get overwhelmed very easily, but we also have the ability to feel everything and to feel it deeply. Turns out that makes for good art”.

I knew there was something special about ARO the first time I heard ‘Let Me Go’ and, with the release of her latest song, I am now convinced! If you want to get to know Meghan a little better, check out our interview with her!
