Grace & Moji Reflect on Fragility in ‘Tipping Point’

The keen reader might recall Grace & Moji, soothing folk duo with a knack for majestic and meaningful material. Writing about their debut effort ‘Our Love’ earlier this year, we proudly described it as “a wholesome, poignant and soulful offering”. Now, the Los Angeles-based pair returns with ‘Tipping Point’, a majestic and emotional number drenched in folk and pop vibes. Honestly, it’s some of the best material we have heard in a while, and that’s not a surprise, considering the amount of talent embodied by the American duo.

Made up of accomplished Swedish music producer Martin Ware and artist and creative Grace Hong, the group know exactly what they need to do to reach their artistic zenith, and they are ever so close to it with ‘Tipping Point’. Built on mellow acoustic vibes and ethereal vocals, the record then evolves into a glorious and evocative anthem, packed with relatability and honesty.

As the duo explains: “This is one of the most powerful and raw moments on our EP. It captures the drama and how hard communication can be sometimes coupled with beautiful moments of commitment to working it out.” A worthy discovery, especially thanks to its memorable and cinematic choruses. Watch out though, tears might be called upon…
