Justin Levinson Teams Up with Ben Patton on ‘Collamer Circle’

‘Collamer Circle’ feels as light as it sounds, channelling a positive and bubbly take on power pop and indie surf. Penned by Vermont singer and songwriter Justin Levinson, the album is a collaboration with fellow creative Ben Patton, making for a rather meaningful and charismatic record. Built on friendly instrumentation, ‘Collamer Circle’ oscillates between tight and catchy guitar riffs and more mellow, acoustic-powered material, embodying a strong sense of eclecticism.

Almost playful, at times theatrical: that’s how Levinson and Patton build the album, a collection of fragile and honest lyricism for the modern traveller. Recorded during the pandemic, ‘Collamer Circle’ signals Justin’s return to Vermont, after a long four years in Los Angeles, refining his songwriting ability as an acclaimed industry figure.

Going from Beatles-esque vocal harmonies to more intimate folk-powered settings, the record is bound to have something for everyone. Furthermore, it’s a close look at Levinson and Patton’s shared artistry, working in synergy towards a common goal. What more could you want?
