Aided by Jacobs’ evocative and spacious vocals and a cinematic, airy production, the record shines bright off its own relatable energy, showcasing the Aussie talent’s ability to craft catchy and anthemic melodies. The chorus is particularly relevant, with Livi engaging in passionate singing and nuanced harmonies, only to then disappear in a sea of reverb once the song comes to its natural end.
Now based in the US, Livi Jacobs is gearing up for an upcoming EP, expected in October. If ‘Keep Quiet’ is anything to go by, we are in for a real treat.
