The outstanding support she’s received is not a surprise, given Taylor’s mesmerising vocals and intense, euphoric instrumental. Building a sort of artistic chiaroscuro, with gentle, pop-flavoured vocals contrasted to more saturated and fuzzy sonic matter, the British talent is on her way to music Olympus.
Following up from last year’s ‘Fierce’, Lissy Taylor now returns with her first release in 2023, ‘Feel for Me’. In it, the listener will meet an improved, fiercer version of Taylor’s charisma, with the track delving into slightly more punchy and distorted rock energy. Choruses are absolutely stunning, exploding into a glorious and aggressive chant towards introspection and self-empowerment.
Lyrically, ‘Feel for Me’ explores the sentimental rollercoaster a relationship often brings along. As she explains: “Feel For Me’ captures the intensity of emotion felt at different stages of relationships from anticipation and desire to frustration and heartbreak.”
