Celebrating 2023 as the year of her final glow, Glowe seems determined to confirm her majestic brand of soulful pop, fiercely driven by her kaleidoscopic and relatable vocals. Following up from ‘RUNNING’, released earlier this year, the London-based talent now unveils ‘BAD IDEAS’, a rather eclectic offering. Leaving behind (temporarily) nostalgic and melancholic electro-pop shenanigans, Glowe embraces groovier and RnB-flavoured territories, building a piece that feels memorable, danceable and just tremendously catchy.
Sonically, ‘BAD IDEAS’ flourishes in wonky, hip-hop-style drum beats, vintage pianos and synthesised basslines, courtesy of musician and producer Dario Scotti. While celestial harmonies accompany the British newcomer’s majestic vocal tone, delivering a topline that’s as good as they come, the chorus hits just right, providing an infectious melody that tends to stick around your brain long after the listening experience has ended.
Crowning a creative career that puts her at the forefront of the British music industry, Glowe seems set on a path to stardom. We’ll be here supporting!
