The Tracys Release Farewell Album ‘Welcome To The Land of Nothing’

While recently writing about ‘Bully Bully Blockhead’, we proudly declared it: “an exciting and rebellious gem hitting the listener right in the guts”. Now, The Tracys pick up their momentum again, delivering a wholesome and energetic album, ‘Welcome To The Land of Nothing’. In it, the listeners will be able to dive into the group’s artistic universe, a place made up of fuzzy guitar, sleazy riffing and exciting drums, all in the service of the band’s witty and metaphorical lyricism.

In fact, vocals get quite a wide space, signalling The Tracys’ dedication to making their music as relatable and friendly as possible. The chaotic – at times – and furious instrumental charge is kept at bay, allowing their songs to shine through. Over eight powerful bangers, ‘Welcome To The Land of Nothing’ provides much-needed relief for the keen listener, navigating the modern times with veiled euphoria and majestic energy.

What’s notable, is how the album is the final one for the project. That’s right: The Tracys are coming to an end, having rocked stages far and wide in the USA. The remaining original members, Matt Ernst, John Payne and Larry Mancini, will carry on as The Sparkles. Times change, names change, but we are confident their energy will remain intact.
