Youth Killed It Share Fiery Banger ‘Up All Night’

There’s quite a lot to unpack in ‘Up All Night’. An electrifying and explosive blend of sharp indie matter and playful, vibrant rap vocals, the single is extremely contemporary and charming, catering to an eclectic, appreciative crowd. Borrowing chaotic guitar stylings from the likes of Bloc Party, Youth Killed It manages to go one step beyond, infusing their fast-paced formula with loud and attention-seeking vocal delivery.

Emerging from Norwich, the group seems to have all the right cards to find national recognition – judging by what we hear, that’s a very realistic goal. Immensely catchy and memorable, ‘Up All Night’ is bound to instantly engulf you in its kaleidoscopic, party-flavoured character, and you won’t be able to shake it off for a while… trust us on that.

Against such a recognizable sonic livery, Youth Killed It are not afraid to delve into nuanced lyricism. As they explain: “‘Up All Night’ is a song about how anxiety and bad habits creep up on you. Just when you think everything’s alright, you’re laying in your bed getting hit by a storm of thoughts. No matter how far you run or how many different things you incorporate into your life to distract yourself – nothing works, those long nights don’t go away”.
