Sounds good; appealing to listeners worldwide, ‘Checkmate in Two, Donnie’ jumps with both feet into American politics, shining the light on Republicans and their controversial candidate. Safe to say, THE HYBRIS are not too enthusiastic about him.
Built over bold and eclectic stylings, the single is certainly colourful and melancholic in its sonic identity, something that pairs perfectly with such a critical lyricism.
