Introduced by a charming organ-like texture, ‘Run With Me’ welcomes Ravi Amruth’s relatable and slick vocals from the get-go, slowly building into an uplifting and positive pop anthem. Moving with charm and elegance, the record contains its fair share of eclecticism, with the chorus being infused by a playful horn section, for instance.
Apart from its delightful musical character, the single also celebrates Amruth’s return to the industry, after a couple of years of absence. Life was busy regardless, resulting in a newly found artistic inspiration for the British troubadour. ‘Run With Me’ is the perfect evidence of that, bending the project’s lyrical depth with Ravi’s malleable and evocative vocals.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, he explains: “This song is about wanting something (or someone!) that you can’t have. Constantly torturing yourself with the thoughts of what could have been.” Several future releases are in the works – judging by what we hard in ‘Run With Me’, we are in for a pretty interesting journey!
