We could describe ‘Lucid’ as an intense gem packed with fierceness and charisma – but honestly, it needs to be experienced rather than narrated. Born out of the collaboration between Adelaide-based talents Keith Kugo and Stefan Rossi, the track feels incredibly sharp and mesmerising, wrapping the listeners into a dark, misty aura, quite dreamy and ethereal.
Built on a contemporary trap and hip-hop production, the track features a playfully bouncy groove and a myriad of textures, perfectly complementing Kugo’s hard-hitting vocal and Rossi’s round, evocative vocals. In fact, the alchemy between the two works very well, giving the track a certain dualism.
