Emma Frances Delivers Sweet-Toned and Infectious Debut EP ‘Caverns of Youth’

I hope you’re ready to discover the sweetest little EP of the year! Introducing San Diego-based singer/songwriter Emma Frances and her infectious debut EP ‘Caverns of Youth’. Through four indie-pop and folky numbers, Emma recounts a tale of lust and longing during a whirlwind relationship by the beach. Full of warmth, colour, and vibrancy, it’s an EP that expertly captures the essence of youthful romance and coastal adventures.

‘Honey’ gets things underway and Frances’ silky and mellifluous vocals set the perfect tone and immediately draw the listener into her sun-soaked journey. ‘See You Tomorrow’ then follows and wonderfully encapsulates the thrill and excitement of new love.

‘Days’, a tune that has already received over 11,000 plays on Spotify, reflects on life’s cyclical nature and is simply stunning from beginning to end. There’s just no other way to describe it!

We end off with ‘Melt’, the rockiest offering of the record, showcasing Emma’s effortless ability to mix up sounds and styles with aplomb. It rounds out the EP with a flourish of creativity and leaves me eagerly anticipating more from this incredibly gifted artist.

Inspired by the likes of Carole King, Bonnie Raitt, Maggie Rogers, and Sara Bareilles, Emma Frances is a musician I expect to make waves for many years to come.
