Edie Yvonne Celebrates No Doubt’s Reunion with Stellar Cover of ‘Sometimes’

An artist who certainly needs no introduction around these parts, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Edie Yvonne continues to captivate us (and audiences) with her emotionally charged music. From ‘In the Rain’ and ‘Queen Bee’ to ‘Girl Code’ and ‘Delusion’, we’ve been with her every step of the way, and feel honoured that we get to champion her artistry.

Her latest release is a cracking cover of No Doubt’s hit ‘Sometimes’, brought on by the occasion of the band’s reunion at this year’s Coachella festival. “I know it was a song that spoke to my mom and her friends from back in the day,” says Edie, a sentiment that instantly makes me realise just how long ago the 90s were, and also makes me feel rather ancient.

Staying true to the original while still infusing it with a fresh and modern vibe, Edie’s cover is a nostalgic journey that brings back memories of a simpler time. Her evocative and luscious vocals are as strong as ever, proving once again that she’s a musician with an unbelievably bright future ahead of her.
