Discover Trickshooter Social Club’s Gritty and Uplifting Tune ‘Honey I Believe’

I mentioned recently that a great tune doesn’t come with an expiry date and that, if anything, it can often age like a fine wine. Such is the case with ‘Honey I Believe’, a track released in 2021 by Chicago-based roots rock band Trickshooter Social Club. With a revolving door of contributors, the act is more of a community than a typical rock outfit, embodying the spirit of collaboration and musical experimentation.

Gearing up for album number three, ‘Honey I Believe’ is the perfect introduction to the whiskey-soaked sounds of Trickshooter Social Club. An uplifting and somewhat gritty offering with infectious guitar riffs, buoyant drum work, and a cracking vocal performance, the act says that the song is about “redemption, resilience, and the sublime freedom of saying fuck it”.

Influenced by bands and artists like Social Distortion, Jack White, and Steve Earle, Trickshooter Social Club is as authentic a band as you could ever hope to come across. They play by their own rules and their rebellious spirit is the driving force behind their powerful sound. We can’t wait to hear the new album!
