Cris Cap Returns with Soulful and Uplifting New Tune ‘Don’t You Cry’

Earlier this year, German-based musician and producer Cris Cap came bouncing into our world with three tunes that we described as a triumph of colours, elegance and lusciousness. Falling instantly in love with his sound, today I am proud to introduce you to ‘Don’t You Cry’, Cris’ brand new single.

Teaming up once again with West London vocalist Tyla Raé, the soulful, funky, and jazzy little number is a much-needed ray of musical sunshine in a world full of turmoil and uncertainty. Soothing and uplifting, ‘Don’t You Cry’ is intensely infectious and hypnotising, whisking listeners away to a world of bliss and joy, if only for a few minutes.

Inspired by the vibrant neo-soul stylings of Tom Misch and the timeless groove of masters like Steely Dan, Al Green, and Al Jarreau, Cap brings his own unique twist to the table. His compositions are a fusion of retro flair from the 70s and 80s, creating a sound that’s both nostalgic and fresh. It’s pure perfection if I’m being completely honest!

A beacon of hope during troubled times, ‘Don’t You Cry’ is a reminder to keep pushing forward with resilience and optimism in your heart.
