Broken Romeo Gear Up for Upcoming Album with ‘Stay With Me’

‘Stay With Me’ made a great impression on us. A gritty, raw and powerful offering, the alt-rock anthem features heavy guitar tones, punchy drums and a certain classic flair, all qualities that will interest a wide range of listeners. The absence of a proper intro is a feature we appreciate. Broken Romeo jumps into electrifying goodness right away, fiercely driven by the collective vocals of James and Steve Turpin.

Hailing from Tucson, Arizona, Broken Romeo’s sonic imprint is as dry as the desert around them; fuzzy, coarse distortions next to a hard-hitting rhythms section. It’s a simple formula, but it works well. The whole experience is rather disorientating, almost hypnotising. ‘Stay With Me’ grabs us by the neck, not letting go for a whole three minutes. During that time, we felt completely overwhelmed by the American group’s gloomy, dark rock outlook, something that’s not so common in the music landscape these days.

Ari Sloane and Matt Ringnell complete a talented lineup, now all devoted to releasing an upcoming album, ‘Infirmus Orbis’ – a nuanced and incredibly actual exploration of the global social landscapes, especially regarding conflicts and politics.
