Punk/Pop-Rock from Edinburgh, UK. SALt share their new album ‘Fairytale on Fire’. Emerging from the remote yet artistically rich Scottish lands, the group is composed by Sharon and Robin Woods, Simon Kettles, and James King, drawing influences from the likes of Nick Cave, The Marine Girls, The Pixies and Ennio Morricone, among others.
‘Fairytale on Fire’ – the latest in a series of album releases – is a melting pot of ideas, influenced by a wide range of emotions and featuring a bonus track that can be accessed by scanning the QR code on the back of the record. According to Sharon, SALT is a post-punk pop band that is “not tied to any specific genre, just good songs”.
