Uplifting Indie Pop from Auckland, NZ. Sabreen Islam shares her latest single ‘still love you’, a light-hearted, playful, bubbly gem balancing contemporary bubblegum pop with classic lyricism and love-oriented songwriting.
The song is about pining for a childhood crush and is written with a comical, self-deprecating style. Incorporating Sabreen’s Bangladeshi culture, the song features a tabla, a traditional Bangladeshi drum. The single is the first step towards the upcoming debut EP ‘Room Service’, due to be released in March. Islam is quickly collecting unanimous industry support, and there’s no doubt the young New Zealander is on her way to becoming a musical force.
