Shoegaze voyagers Glazyhaze are on a striking mission towards scene domination, and judging by what we have heard so far, they are not that far away from it! We previously featured ‘FORGIVE ME’, a “tender and luscious” piece packed with hazy energy and dreamy tones. Now, the group returns with their latest effort, ‘NIRVANA’, a further exploration of their shoegaze boundaries and indie references.
Featuring Glazyhaze’s signature male and female vocals interplay, the record playfully contrasts dry, haunting verses with more expansive, blissful choruses, making for a listening experience that’s intriguing and cathartic. As the group explains, “It explores the complexities of desire, the inner struggle between longing and letting go, and the bittersweet, fleeting nature of perfect moments.”
