‘The Wilderness’ gifted us with a wonderfully poignant listening experience. Not just because of the track’s evocative character, but also for its ability to spark an introspective journey in any keen listener. That’s what happened to us; while enjoying Bryce Styan’s vivid, cathartic vocals, we were suddenly engulfed in a stream of meaningful memories and feelings. The song’s malleable, mellow melodies greatly helped, especially with the chorus being so heartwarming and gentle.
Hailing from North Canada’s nature-laden territories, it’s no wonder how Styan managed to end up on such reflective shores.
