Los Angeles-based musical idol CeCe recently unleashed her brand new single in the form of ‘Problems’, an anthemic and empowering tune that is just brilliant! It starts off in a rather laidback and chilled-out fashion, but it’s not long before ‘Problems’ turns into an all-out alternative-pop masterpiece. It features a chorus so catchy and infectious that, after just two listens of the song, I’m already walking around my flat and belting it out. And as for the production on the track…simply flawless.
Lyrically, CeCe penned the tune to “get revenge for a friend who was brutally cheated on by their fiancé”. “It is the ultimate ‘F*#@ you for cheating on me’ record,” she says. Allowing the listener an outlet and a judge-free zone for three minutes and thirteen seconds, CeCe encourages you to find the catharsis that you need.
