Steeped in bright, uplifting mainstream energy, the record channels bouncy electronic grooves and whimsical textures, the perfect match for Stewart’s lovable and luscious vocals.
Produced by the celebrated MADS, ‘EVEN’ flourishes in its meaningful and relatable lyricism thanks to a playful yet intense take on a broken relationship. Singing the ever-lasting nostalgia of remembering good times in a romance, Taylor seeks to evoke the potential for love to end in complicated, painful times. As he explains: “Love is a rose with thorns”.
Along with the record, the Los Angeles-based songster has also been hard at work on an impressive music video. Boasting an elegant, retro aesthetic packed with dazzling lights and quirky animations, the video included a brilliant team of creatives, including director Benjamin Farren, choreographer Julie Vegliante, and German designer Joseph Auren.
