PEACE_TALKS and Ivan Moon Push Boundaries Forward in ‘SORE’

We like to champion visionary artists from time to time. After all, they are the ones keeping this whole endeavour interesting. Exploring the depths of leftfield electronica and lo-fi boundaries, PEACE_TALKS is one such creative. Hailing from Manchester, the talented producer champions a keen eye for fringe textures and machine-powered live performances, also incorporating a quirky visual component.

‘SORE’ is the perfect evidence of PEACE_TALKS’s qualities. Teaming up with fellow artist Ivan Moon – usually seen in punk and pop-rock territories – the British alchemist pens a distorted, luscious piece that’s as groundbreaking as it is intense and striking. Despite such gritty sonic paste, melodies come through perfectly, helping the record wrap the listener into an otherworldly, tender stream of musical goodness.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the single, PEACE_TALKS  explains: “It’s one of the earliest PEACE_TALKS tracks written. We recorded the vocals hammered at 2 am in a dingy flat a few years back. I’d been messing around with it all day and wanted to show Ivan and convince him to jump on the track.”
