Eddie Cohn Delivers Masterful and Introspective New Tune ‘Wheels Stop’

It feels like Eddie Cohn has been a part of my musical landscape for ages, yet he still somehow finds ways to excite and evolve with each new release. We proudly covered all of the Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter’s releases last year, and it’s truly been a privilege to experience his evolution firsthand, one track at a time.

‘Wheels Stop’ is Eddie’s latest offering and his first of 2025. It’s a lyrically introspective yet classically hard-hitting piece of music, as Cohn concocts a tune that sits somewhere between the thrilling energy of LĪVE and the self-contemplation of legends like Soundgarden and Alice in Chains. A unique fusion? Most certainly. But that’s the genius of Eddie’s work. He takes all his inspirations (of which there are many) and mashes them together to form a genuine and compelling sound that I just can’t get enough of.

“I believe there are people in our lives that end up causing us a lot of mental anguish,” says Eddie, reflecting on the song’s meaning. “‘Wheels Stop’ is about getting all the menacing thoughts or people out of our lives so we can be our best selves”.

Continuing to grow his fanbase and his discography, Eddie Cohn is a musician I’ll never tire of championing. He’s a true artist in every sense, and I can’t wait to hear what’s next!
