Having debuted earlier this year with ‘LNBR’, the German-based artist now returns with her highly anticipated sophomore release in the form of ‘Mr. Who Knows (Messiah)’.
Blending elements of shoegaze, indie-pop, and psychedelic rock, kidd noir’s new tune is an immersive and hypnotic little number. With a percussive Latin groove and a duelling lead guitar, the artist tells a tale of the battle between a man and the voices inside his head. Delving into the mind of a schizophrenic is a pretty intense undertaking for such a young creative, but it just serves as another example of kidd noir’s brilliance and wisdom beyond her years.
Deeply infectious and rhythmic, ‘Mr. Who Knows (Messiah)’ is an absolute gem of a track. With the use of an electric guitar, kidd noir brings her inner world to life, and in turn, crafts genuine music with an emotional depth that leaves a lasting impression long after the song finishes.
