Discover Tori Cross’ Upbeat and Soulful New Single ‘Deepest Fear’

‘Deepest Fear’ is Tori Cross‘ third single in the past year, and it wonderfully showcases the soul singer/songwriter’s musical evolution and artistic growth. Currently based in Birmingham, though planning to head on over to London, I believe Tori is poised to make a significant impact on the scene very soon.

Her latest tune is an upbeat, poppy, and soulful little number that washes over you like a burst of sunshine. Irresistibly energetic and refreshing, it tells an age-old tale of addictive and toxic relationships – and the internal tug-of-war between desire and self-preservation. The juxtaposition of the track’s infectious and lively instrumentation with its poignant and profound message creates a truly nuanced and complex listening experience. One that I’m almost certain you’re going to enjoy as much as I have!

Influenced by the likes of Jorja Smith, Raye, Lianne La Havas, Amy Winehouse, and Lauryn Hill, Tori Cross is clearly drawn to honesty and authenticity when it comes to her songwriting. Her previous tune ‘Heaven (Why Didn’t You Call Me?)’ made its way onto Spotify’s New Music Friday, and I don’t think it’ll be the last time something like that happens!

Serious tune alert! Enjoy ‘Deepest Fear’ on Spotify now:
